Who We Are

Transit Line Art is a business started by Mark Chumley, a Santa Monica California based graphic artist and web developer with 25 years of design experience. As a boy growing up within earshot of the Indianapolis 500, Mark would cover his notebooks with detailed race car drawings and venture over to the old brickyard for a glimpse of those magnificent machines. Thus began a love affair with art, technology and design.

Following several successful years designing screen prints for a number of firms, Mark relocated to southern California. After working as an art director for two companies, he began his own businesses: first, "You Name It Creative Services" (graphic art/design) then, later WebShaq Media (full fledged website design). Mark had developed a versatile set of skills, styles and valuable connections. His easy-going style, personal touch and fair prices have earned him a number of faithful clients. His business has grown largely by word of mouth; happy customers refer friends and colleagues. Among his clients are Culver City Municipal Bus Co., Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus, and the 100 Best Fleets.

Due to the growing demand for his services, Mark launched Transit Line Art to meet the needs of the fleet industry. He and his team understand what the industry requires.
